That would have seemed very rude, Feather.

Ho, if you two can pick me out in a crowd, I know how you've done it.
But maybe you're wrong. I could have adopted somebody else's persona to hide behind.  excited Mr. Green

Thanks for making me smile.  happyheart

I had a nasty bout a few weeks ago--but you can't keep a good girl down.  thumb
I noticed your recent photo here on the forum, Merlin.

Pigs are intelligent creatures... and they talk.
If you don't believe me, talk to one in pig language and you'll see that he (or she) will come up to you and talk back.

You two had flu jabs on the same day. What a coincidence. Or is there a hidden meaning somewhere?  Mr. Green

Embarassed  yes I am a man , with a deep voice and no hand on my hip etc. I did have a pink shirt once.  Embarassed

I was once accused of being smooth, as I pointed out, I do know what to say and do regarding ladies, the problem is. They do not want to hear it from me.  Sad Cool

That's a lot of negatives for one post, Merlin.
Be positive.

Would I ??  Cool No ... honestly, I have seen Merlin's photo.

Come on, Merlin ... you know you're going to be pestered now till you do. That Feather won't let up you know until she gets her wicked way with you.  gigle

If you're too shy (which I don't believe for one minute razz  ) do I have your permission to post it up here? Perhaps a link to your website?

Of course, if you'd rather not .. I will respect your wishes.

I liked the offer but did not like the daddy bit.  crybaby

Laughter is also cheaper than flowers and chocolates. But those sparkling eyes don't look mean.

I just took a quick look at the famous Merlin website.  excited That's one for Voldsy in particular.

I am sitting reading the paper when a catchy tune came on the radio, I noticed my foot going back and forth in time to the music, soon followed by my head.  excited

Smile of the day  very happy
This morning I had a symphony of sirens, starting with a series of public alarm tests, then an ambulance and a police car, and lastly the clanging of a bell. Strangely, they sounded good all together, quite musical.  very happy

Today, I will see two of the members here  scared

I'm trying to shove some butter and jam in the suitcase ( I've just managed the bread) to make them tea and toast supper.

See you later  razz

Hey lar-lar,
Don't bother with the butter, I'm already bringing some. Also got marmalade, cheese spread, cereals, a walnut cake, orange juice and some rum and coke for us! Got bread as well, but I'll leave that out if you've already packed yours. Got some Melba toasts as well. (None of this fits in my suitcase! so have to carry it separately).

Can't wait to see you and Feather later today.  excited

That all sounds like some picnic.  Cool   I take it you three are in the Spiritlove party going to Bath?
Hope you all have a great time there. Sounds like a really exciting do. I am looking forward to hearing what the Big Announcement is all about.

Nobody's posted in here for almost three years! Imagine being miserable all that time with nothing to make you smile. I don't believe that for a minute. There's always something positive if you look for it.

Gosh, this brings back memories reading in this old thread. Some of these posts were made just before we set off for the ASSAP 'Seriously Strange' Conference weekend in Bath.  ghost

It's not written about here but all the goss was recorded on the Spiritlove forum here:

Ah, those were the days ... Happy times.  Smile

Welcome.

All my work is presently up to date (won't be for long, of course) so I could pop in here and have a browse. Had to smile at some of the old posts and, as Candlelight wrote in another thread, it's strange to read posts from the oldies written way back when.
A little stroll down the path of nostalgia...

Well of course that link doesn't work any more because the Spiritlove forum no longer exists - ( http://krazykats.forumotion.co.uk/t6-the-spiritlove-forum ), but as we are all aware here, the spirit never dies, neither does the love ... Spiritlove may have shed its bodily form, but thanks to that wonderful medium called Wayback Machine, we have been able to capture here some of the ethereal essence of the Spiritlove forum, and here is a little memory jerker of what that link was all about.  (Unfortunately, I've only been able to capture the first page of each  - but there were 100 posts to a page, so at least some of the memories live on here) If you click into the link of the respective Spiritlove Meet-Up, you can read the first 100 posts made pertaining to each (capturing photos and all!):
https://web.archive.org/web/20120115103403/http://spiritlove.freeforums.org/the-spiritlove-meet-up-f64.html

(Still working on how to bring up the additional pages in each thread there.  I feel sure there must be a way .....)

Well that really is seriously strange (lol - I've still got my badge from the conference weekend - right underneath my name it says 'SERIOUSLY STRANGE'.  razz - Strange though Misty, because the link works fine for me. Perhaps we're in different browsers or something?

I know the before is not quite the same as all the 'afterwards' goss ... but better than nowt I suppose ... have a look here - posted before we set off on the magical weekend. (That was myself, Feather and lar-lar from here) - the last time the three of us met actually. Who knows when we 3 shall meet again ..... (Hubble Bubble Toil & Trouble .....  witchy witchy witchy ..........
Here's the thread that was made on this forum anyway:

http://lightafterlife.freeforums.org/the-spiritlove-meet-up-2011-t797.html

Absolutely fabulous weekend - some really great memories from there.
