Oh my gosh, Candlelight ! The Kathleen song has been going round and round in my head for the last few days.
I used to get homesick a lot but now that world doesn't exist any more, so I just get nostalgic for what was but is no longer.

I hope that's not a premonition, Stardust.
Wherever I may be in the world when I pop my clogs I want to be brought home to rest in Ireland and that's the song I want played at my funeral .. "I'll take you home again Kathleen"

I know - and I'll probably lynched for saying it, but all his songs sound the same to me - he puts no passion, no deep-gut feeling into his singing, and I think quite simply he's ruined some very beautiful traditional song (for me anyway).

Now .. as for Elvis (THANK YOU FEATHER! - a sight for sore eyes on a gloomy day) He's just PERFECTION all round.

By the way - a very spiritual man. He had "the gift", very tuned in - his twin brother who died when he was quite young, was with him always, he sensed and heard him throughout his life, and he also had contact from his mother after she died (she too was a very spiritual lady)

I didn't know that,Candlelight. I do know how generous he was with his millions and I knew about
his twin, Aaron but not the contact bit. Here's one more for you--Elvis in action.xxx.
