by A priest is facing expulsion from his archdiocese after allegedly performing an exorcism during the riots that saw Donald Trump supporters descend on Washington DC.
Reverend David Fulton from Central City, Nebraska, was filmed during the unrest on January 6 brandishing the book “Minor Exorcisms and Deliverance Prayers in Latin and in English.”
According to the Omaha World Herald, he told a fellow protestor he had performed an exorcism at the Capitol because a demon had “possessed” the building.
“Got this going,” the priest says in the interview. “Got these exorcism prayers going, there’s priests that’re using them.”
“It’s good to see so many people who care about the country, concerned about the country, people who know about what’s going on, the obvious steal,” he adds.
“And hopefully we’ll be able to take this into our local communities and do something,” he said.
