Re: Welcome to the forum
This is lovely, such a feeling of calm and peace emanates from this page.
Candelight, I love the eye in the sky above the waves, and the colour blue.
I am a seeker with yet a long way to go on my spiritual path, more so because I like to stop along the way and smell the roses.
I have my own beliefs which are not religious though I have taken many seedlings found in different religions and let them grow within my heart.
I'm looking forward to the site taking off like a shooting star lighting the way for us to follow.

Welcome Stardust! So happy to have you here. Yes, sadly, we are so often looking so far ahead along the path we do not take the time to even notice the roses, let alone smell them. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

nicks = nicknames
avatars = the small picture you identify yourself with...
a wolfie (isn't it a fox?) does not give me any clue as to who stardust is.... sorry...
need to make my own wanted list with A.K.A.'s and Alias'es on... hehe

Hello, everyone. I'm so pleased to be here among you all. This is great fun, trying to figure out who's who

Good luck to this forum. May it prosper and bring comfort and knowledge to everyone who ventures in.

The clue, Voldsy, as to both Feather and Stardust's identities is in Feather's post to Stardust - if you can understand French that is?
I will translate it here for you:
"I know who you are - the queen of the quatrains, isn't that so?"
Does that help?
As for that Elly person, I've no idea who that can be ....

Looby Rag Doll and Lynne,
How lovely to see you both here. You saw the candle in the window. I'm glad.
There's a nice roaring fire waiting for you in the hearth where we all gather round, sing some songs, tell some stories and relax. They're telling ghost stories in the living room tonight, so grab a candle and get stuck in.

Hello everyone. This is my first time on so I'm finding my way around. I've spent the last few hours reading lots and I'm hooked already. There is a lovely atmosphere with this site, so welcoming and relaxing.
I'm enjoying reading lots of the stories as they are dear to my heart. I'm a true believer in the afterlife! Not from a religious point of view but my own (maybe brainwashed as a young teenager hahaha) and I look forward to learning more with you all and sharing stories.
Thank you so much Candlelight! What a beautiful belief to have in common xxxx

Re: Welcome to the forum
Hi, I think most of you here know me from other forums, hope you dont mind me jumping in here there is such a nice feel to this place and maybe I can share things and find out new things too.
I am 30 years old, i live in the north-east.
I think I have had an interest in the other side since a very early age, when my great-uncle died. Since then a good few more members of my family have passed plus a few friends and acquaintances. Even at the age of 5 it seemed impossible to me that we could not carry on, although the thought of spending eternity in a coffin absolutely terrified me!
I have had some very interesting experiences, which I have opened up to only relatively recently after pushing the first ones to one side when I was a child. I did this out of fear; fear of what was happening and fear of what people would think of me.
By reading this forum and talking with you fabulous peeps, I hope I can remind myself of a few things and find inspiration, besides possibly giving inspiration to others. Looking forward to it

What a lovely surprise, Voldsy! Great to see you back around these parts.
Sorry to hear life is not so well with you at the moment, but I'm so glad you were drawn back to the ever-glowing light in the window here. There's a welcoming fire in the hearth here, as always, so grab a brew (or something stronger) and let your body and soul chill out here for a while - take a nice long, relaxing rest. Let all your worries and cares take a bit of a holiday while you enjoy the benefits of some spiritual recouperation.

I can't believe it (pinch me, someone). Voldsy!!!
We really missed you and your wisdom.
Sad to read you've had such problems, but remember when a door closes another opens, and everything happens for a reason.
As long as you wish it, we will hold your hands on this new road/adventure you're starting out on, that's what friends are for.
I hope it all works out well for you soon.
Welcome home.
PS: I clicked on "Spiritual Reality" and got a "Misdirected" message, so I suppose it's been closed down

Tragic. He's going through a dark place at the moment, all we can do is send him lots of light to see his way through. Maybe he'll be back when things are better or when he needs a virtual hug. We all wish you well, Voldsy.

Me
Hi, I was a member a long time ago, basically I am a hypnotherapist, I cover a very wide field. I help people to Stop Smoking, Lose Weight, get rid of fears and phobias etc etc.
I also use Regression, this life time or past? but my main interest is Healing Mind and Body. I have been giving talks and demos for over 27 years now, although my interest in Hypnosis started 64 years ago when I bought a book by a stage hypnotist Ralph Slater.
So any questions you may want to ask, please do.

lol - Merlin, you made it back at last.... I am sooo happy to see you back here with us.
Hoping to hear a lot more from you around the forum now, as I know you have many tales to tell, especially where Mediumship is involved - so long as you don't forget who you are again!

Re: Welcome to the forum
Hmmm ... Just realised - as this is a very old thread carried over from the old LAL forum when we made the move from the old FreeForums hosts, seems there are quite a few old Photobucket images throughout (now showing just empty boxes) which need to be deleted and one or two broken links which no longer exist.
I don't know how I missed this thread when checking on all the old obsolete Photobucket pics.
I will get it sorted later on today.
ETA: Well, I've now had a chance to check out all those little boxes through the whole thread. Wasn't the fault of PhotoBucket at all, but a number of emoticons from the old FreeForums site - which just don't work here on new LAL, and their presence was slowing down the whole thread! This was actually one of the first threads made on old LAL right at the conception of the Forum. Most of the members contributing here had come over from Spiritlove.
All those obsolete emoticon links have now been replaced with their present equivalents.
