A friend told me,when she was arguing with her daughter last year, she felt a blow on her neck just before a door slammed hard, she swears there was no breeze whatsoever in the house.

whilst asleep the other night i heard my name called distinctly. i woke with a start and was fully awake immediately it was so profound. it sounded like my mums voice in a loud whispering tone. my mum is here so i don't understand but i could be wrong about it being her voice. i have heard it in the past but not as strong.

lol - yes, it can be a bit of a chore. Something they keep drumming into you at the circles and dev. classes though, from the beginning, how important it is to meditate regularly if you're developing as a medium. I found that very hard to do and hadn't got the patience or the motivation to regularly set aside time to do this. One medium I know says she never meditates because she always falls asleep. Quite honestly, I find it just as beneficial if you can just find a quiet place somewhere in your own home or garden to sit awhile and just let your mind go blank (now that's not hard for me cos most of the time my mind's involuntarily a complete blank anyway!) I think everyone must find their own way that's comfortable for them. I've never been one to adhere to 'rules and regulations' laid down by others.

But now the Healing Half Hour, and knowing that others are participating in this also, has given me the motivation that I lacked before and I do make a point now of making this my regular time. The strange thing is no matter what time I start it always lasts for 20 minutes. i.e. if start at 10 finish at 20 past. if start 10 past finish 10.30. Even if there are occasions now when I can't make that time for some reason, I still send out a thought wherever I am and whatever I'm doing.

yes,i have difficulties with it also-many a time i have fell asleep but thats beneficial if sleep is the aim!But it wasn't!I rarely do it at all.
have you tried to change the times where you meditate-that may help.
