have you been on her website elly. it's in the book and looks interesting. i thought of you whilst reading this as you live close. must be something that brings out spirituality where you live, what with you and bry too.

must be strange to know the man in the book, mick. we do tend to think of them as out of reach. must be nice to identify with it so well. i know what you mean about not feeling too spiritual at the mo though. feel i need a break myself.

Yes, it's important to keep a balance. Good idea every now and then to take a little rest, making sure to stay well grounded.

I couldn't believe it when I read your last posts Elly and Lynneandjohn, because I've been putting myself in question lately and wondering if I shouldn't stop visiting all the forums entirely. I don't seem to be contributing much in the way of spirituality, having no 'gifts' that way myself, and I've been feeling perhaps it's time to move on. Depression is sitting on my shoulder and I think maybe I should seek another path - I don't like to be taking more than I'm putting in. I berate myself over the recent episode.
I see you two feel the need of a break too ... all energy levels seem to be low at the moment - I  hope you both perk up soon.

What's with all this negativity all around? The downs, the doubts and the obstacles placed in our paths are an essential part of our learning and progress. Tests, challenges. Each one of us has our own, and an important part of our journeys is how we deal with them.
Doesn't mean following a different path, Stardust, but merely changing the direction of your existing path, for Voldsy - to sit awhile on the bench, instead of trying to go all directions at once.
Try to look deep into what you see as your present obstacle or block - and you WILL find there is a lesson to be learned in each one.
(I'm in the middle of one at the moment, I'm not quite sure what my particular lesson is, but I'm working on it) I welcome the challenges and the tests, for when faced and dealt with they bring with them further knowledge and enlightenment.

hi sammi, you really don't have to have a gift so to speak sammi to be a valid contributor to the forums. i myself have no gift. you are here always offering support to others which is a gift in itself. blimey that's 3 times iv'e said gift [Only admins are allowed to see this image]
anyway don't be so hard on yourself and i'm sure you'll bounce back like the rest of us. i know i will get back to where i was i just need time out to work through my grief as you become overloaded and need to get back to the world your living in and deal with everyday things.
we are faced with challenges like candlelight says and we will become all the more stronger if we face them head on and work through them. trust in spirit and you won't go far wrong. luv lynne

hi elly, i think you may be going through the same storm as myself. the forums are so comforting but they can gloss over the reality that our loved ones are not here phsically. it is of immense comfort to know they are still with us but we do need to grieve and accept somehow they have passed. i have found that i need a balance. by overdoseing on the forums i was subconsciously avoiding the reality. i hope your negativity shifts soon but perhaps we need to move through rather than avoid our losses.i may be wrong of course you may not feel like this, just remember we are all here. luv lynne
