Nothing much really 'to write home about' (as my mother would say) in this month's edition.
At first glance, anyway, I don't see anything really of any interest to highlight.

Matter of opinion, of course.  Others might find something to their liking.

I miss Roy Stemman's editorial - the first place I would usually go to read.
I always looked forward to what Roy had to say.  I did think he might still maintain an interest, but he doesn't seem to be involved with the publication any more at all.  Crying or Very sad

I guess he (Roy) must be concentrating his time now in other areas. His book Surgeon From Another World has recently been updated with fresh information added.

Roberta Grimes recently conducted a radio interview with Roy Stemman, where he talks about the subject of the book, physical medium & healer George Chapman and his main spirit guide, Dr William Lang.

You can listen to that interview here: https://lightafterlife.forumotion.com/t1161-george-chapman-physical-medium-spiritual-healer

mac wrote:Now I have a subscription I'm steadily working through back issues of PN. Thus far it's been largely what I expected/feared but the last one I read yesterday was August 2018 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A bit out-of-date but in matters of the spirit there's little that's time-critical anyway!

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that I'll again find another edition I enjoy. Smile

So, it was worth your while taking out the subscription, that's good to hear, mac.
Are you working backwards, or just picking issues at random?

I would be interested to hear what it was in particular you enjoyed reading about in that particular issue?
There is actually a thread created in the Psychic News forum here for discussion and views on each separate issue of the magazine. I am copying this post over to the relevant designated thread - perhaps you might like to discuss there whatever it was that took your fancy(?)

I nearly forgot, kk! Embarassed

I've taken a look back at the bits - and after looking back they were only bits - that I enjoyed in this August edition.

In the 'News' section, the piece about Churchill.

The article about the Chapmans - I enjoyed this a lot.

Robert Brown's ''Unsung Heroes'.

From the 'Letters' page, Simon Carter re Magnus about same-sex parenting and organ donation. Silver Birch wasn't enthusiastic about the latter as I recall but Magnus presented both issues with equally delightful wisdom and compassion.
