The experience that you speak of is not as unusual as you may think. Perhaps there will be others reading here who may have experienced the same and who might even like to come and join in the discussion. I do hope you will come and share it with us here. Sharing your experiences with others who understand (or indeed those who do not understand) is one of the reasons why this forum exists. [Only admins are allowed to see this image]

    Maggie's story:

Thank you for sharing this and for providing this haven of comfort and hope.

My heart my husband of 19 years died very suddenly and unexpectedely from a heart attack 3 years ago almost to the day. I all but died with him. My life was worthless. My family and friends gave up on me. I was not a pleasant person to be around. I recently even thought seriously to end it all. I cried every day. Not a day went past without this feeling of loss. I could not eat, I could not sleep. 2 months ago a woman I have never met in my life before stopped me in the street and said she had something to tell me, its about Joe the ferret. Joe was my husbands name and Ferret my nickname for him! I was startled and mistified not sure if I heard right I asked her to repeat what she just said. She said if you know Joe the ferret he wants you to know he is okay. Then she said sorry for the intrusion but its such a strong message I had to pass it to you. Then she smiled at me and walked off!

That woman has brought meaning back into my life, she has changed my life and changed my very thoughts on life and death.
