I love the second photo best, lar-lar, it looks like the two trees are about to dance together.
Feast your eyes on this. I'm sure this beautiful photo could be used for meditation and I'm going to try it.

Don't you just feel like you want to run through that perfect, unmarked, snow and leave your footprints as ghosts of your passage?
Don't you wish you could stroke the tree and whisper secrets into its waving, feathery branches?

Countryside, early morning. Sun making its way gently up the sky, sheep still snoozing under the trees.
A misty haze in the air where the sun is evaporating the dampness from the grass, sparkling with dew
like so many miniature diamonds. The golden glow reaches through the branches and touches a blessing
to your forehead. Good morning, World.

Lovely, Candlelight.

Not much risk of this tree being blown over in the wind. Standing sturdy on four 'feet'.
It looks like two men back-to-back with their knees bent and arms up high holding the branches aloft.

Homes for the birds and other creatures, a place to perch and rest, or roost and nest.

Oh Rowan Tree (panpipe)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBqigQoBkOc

Oh rowan tree, oh rowan tree,
Thoul't aye be dear to me.
Entwin'd thou art wi' mony ties,
O' hame and infancy.
Thy leaves were aye the first o spring,
Thy flowr's the simmer's pride:
There was na sic a bonnie tree,
In all the country side.
Oh rowan tree.

How fair wert thou in simmer time,
Wi' all thy clusters white.
How rich and gay thy autumn dress,
Wi' berries red and bright.
Oh thy fair stem were mony names
Which now nae mair I see,
But there engraven on my heart,
Forgot they ne'er can be.
Oh rowan tree.

We sat aneath thy spreading shade,
The bairnies round thee ran,
They pu'd thy bonnie berries red
And necklaces they strang.
My mither oh, I see her still,
She smil'd our sports to see,
Wi' little Jeannie on her lap,
Wi' Jamie at her knee.
Oh rowan tree.

Oh, there arose my father's pray'r
In holly evening's calm,
How sweet was then my mither's voice
In the martyr's psalm;
Now a' are gan! We meet nae mair
Aneath the rowan tree,
But hallowed thoughts around tee twine
O' hame and infancy.
Oh rowan tree.

Autumn.
The trees are golden, shedding their leaves to make a soft carpet beneath our feet.
The beautiful mixture of gold, red, brown, orange, yellow, green is dazzling.

Trees are not only beautiful in their own right but also home to many birds, including the beloved sparrow :

It certainly is, starlight. It's stunning.

What do you think of this one?

Wow! Feather ... that last one is an awesome tree! Scary even ... I wonder where it is? Is there any indication of where it might be?

There was nothing underneath the photo to say where it was taken.

That is a very strange tree, Feather, looks like it wants to escape. I love it.
I wonder what kind of tree it is, those tendrils growing downwards are very intriguing.
very happy

Amazing trees, Feather.

How about this Golden Wonder ?

Is that Gary Lineker hiding up there among the branches?
Please throw your crisp packet in the bin. Thank you.

When I see photos like this I am almost reconciled to the coming of Winter.
