You lucky ones off to Muncaster! It looks divine, lovely scenery, trains pulled by steam engines,
over 200 owls in the World Owl Centre (you can even 'adopt' one for £30), and lots more.

I will be getting the train up to a station near lar-lar where (hopefully) she will meet me off the train in her car, and we will be driving the rest of the way - a long journey, but I imagine quite a beautiful, interesting, scenic one. The original idea was that we would both take turns with the driving, but (not long since the op) driving at the moment for me is a little bit awkward. I'm hoping I will have overcome this particular drawback by then. Have to take each day as it comes and see how things pan out.
